Position Summary:  This important member of the leadership team is responsible for the marketing strategy, execution, and management of the existing marketing team.  This person will develop and manage the marketing budget, manage key vendor partnerships, and ensure the success of all marketing deliverables.  The Marketing Manager is responsible for BOXX and product positioning, product messaging & claims, creative execution, media placement, marketing communications, and media spending.  This role reports to the CEO.

Experience:  (Type of work experience, minimum number of years of each).

  • 2-3 years of computer hardware marketing experience preferred.
  • 5-6 years of marketing experience.
  • 1-2 years of media experience

Technical Knowledge:

  • Excellent user knowledge of Microsoft Products
  • Ability to use and learn new software as needed
  • Strong understanding of computer hardware products
  • Experience and knowledge of online marketing and sale

Administrative Knowledge:

  • Exceptional writing and editing skills
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and well-organized
  • Marketing and Research Skills
  • Experience SEO, SEM, Social Media, PR, digital marketing tools, and related software

Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to work independently as well as work collaboratively with a team
  • Exemplary troubleshooting/problem-solving skills

Unique Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Essential Functions include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.
  • Responsible for translating value propositions into succinct marketing messages that are easy for potential customers to absorb. Creates competitive products/advantage analysis, and technical marketing material.  Lead and develop the Marketing team.
  • Provide vision and leadership for establishing the BOXX technologies position in the industry as an agile & innovative provider of IT solutions. Creates plans and programs designed to be cost-effective methods of generating sales leads; continually improves on the success criteria of these programs. Delivers digital assets including website, social media interaction, search engine marketing (SEM) and search engine optimization (SEO).
  • Deliver overall corporate communications internally and externally continually growing BOXX brand equity throughout the ecosystem.
  • Gather feedback directly from customers, partners, and sales reps regularly; filter it appropriately to present information to the management team to adjust to dynamic market conditions regarding BOXX products, services, and support and provide suggestions for areas for improvement.
  • Lead Product Marketing efforts to define customer/market needs. Marketing strategy, brand awareness, product positioning, email marketing, lead generation, e-commerce, SEO, sales training, and trade show coordination.
  • Develop BOXX corporate presence (including BOXX cloud & PAC Storage) at all trade shows and industry events; act as the “face of BOXX” and personally represent BOXX with customers, partners, and industry analysts. Manage social media and PR activities, including content creation and publishing.Develop powerful marketing content and collateral for BOXX products and services that differentiate our solutions in the marketplace. Collaborate with Sales to execute a training regimen that ensures that all BOXX sales representatives are knowledgeable of our products, services, and support capabilities and can communicate their benefits to prospective customers.
  • Create and manage the development of white papers, application notes, benchmarks, animated motion media, SEO-friendly web content, and ROI analysis that support all marketing activities spanning a variety of high-performance computer devices.
  • Works closely with external key partners, including Intel, AMD, NVIDIA, Autodesk, and Dassault to ensure all content is well positioned, accurate, meaningful, and engaging for potential customers.  Also, manages the Marketing Development Funds (MDF) provided by such partners.
  • Represents the company on blog and technical community sites. Appears in webcasts and company-produced videos as needed.
