A new opportunity exists to join BOXX Technologies! We are searching for an enthusiastic, hard-working, motivated Inventory Control Clerk, here in Austin, TX. This job will require the qualified candidate to effectively work with the Operations Team and help improve and streamline the inventory process.  Boxx offers Benefits (Medical, Dental and Vision plans), 401-K Matching, Profit Sharing, and Paid Time Off.

Experience: 

  • High School Diploma
  • 5+ years experience in an Inventory Control position
  • 5+ years experience in warehouse or manufacturing environment performing tasks related to Inventory Control

Technical Knowledge:

  • Ability to learn and effectively use different software programs and ERP systems, preferably Intuitive
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Organize layout, location and movement of materials
  • Issues inventory to a work order and enters data into ERP system
  • Place all parts into assigned location, making sure old parts are used first (FIFO Rule)
  • Put kits together for the assembly process
  • Assist with E&O pulls
  • Track part shortages and work with production on getting parts to floor
  • Ability to update and communicate part changes when necessary
  • Count inventory and have the ability to reconcile and report on discrepancies
  • Receives all purchase order items to inventory and enters data into ERP system
  • Receives all GL account purchase orders and delivers to appropriate personnel
  • May include lead responsibilities as determined by manager
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to apply concepts of basic addition, subtraction, division and multiplication
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures
  • Ability to write emails to managers, and co-workers
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. 

Physical Requirements:

Lifting, pulling, pushing, up to or over 25 pounds or moving, assisting and/or lifting items or awkward weights
